The FSA Kittens: the puuuurfect allies for Syrian rebels

Published September 20th, 2012 - 01:14 GMT

It seems that the FSA will recruit just about anyone in their fight against Assad. First soldiers and embittered civilians stood against the dictator's forces, now - in one big step for feline power - the kittens of Syria have risen.

Do not be fooled by their cute, furry exterior - these kittens are tough. They fearlessly take on Shabiha on sniper duty whilst surveying the wreckage of their former homes.

FSA kittens are not just found on the battlefield - representing the Syrian National Council (SNC), they have been getting their claws stuck into the UN too.

However, behind the quirky compilation of cats is a more serious message: the FSA need all the support they can get to overthrow Assad's regime. And, as the kittens would say, the key is to neuter your dictators before they breed. Miaow.

The FSA is not sectarian - birds can join the revolution too!

Brothers-in-arms - an FSA gunman shares his rations with his comrade after the two of them successfully repelled an attack by Assad shabiha.

Since the FSA has been capturing numerous Assad tanks, kittens have begun training for tank duty. Here Zainab successfully completes her course on commanding a T-72.

Like many Syrians, Rana’s home was destroyed by the Assad regime. She looks forward to the day the regime is toppled by the FSA and she can begin rebuilding a better Syria.

This FSA kitten, Yasmeen, is on sniper-duty.

Syrian kittens, just like the free Syrian people, demonstrate tremendous courage on a daily basis. Shrapnel from artillery fire by Assad forces shredded this kitten’s limb, yet she is still committed to the struggle for Syria’s freedom.

Help the kittens. Support the FSA.
