Clashes Erupt in Jerusalem Over Flag March

Published May 30th, 2022 - 08:06 GMT

Clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli and military forces over the Israeli flag march on 29 May 2022 where thousands of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa compound in the Old Jerusalem while carrying the Israeli flags to mark Jerusalem Day.

Palestinians denounce Israel's flag march and responded by carrying out the national flags. A drone carrying the Palestinian flag was seen flying over Jerusalem where the flag march was taking place.

Furthermore, homes at Al-Nasr camp in Amman, Jordan were adorned with Palestinian flags to show solidarity with the Palestinians against Israel's provocative 'Flag March' at Bab al-Amoud in occupied Jerusalem.
