Saudi Airlines Cargo strengthens European Sales Organization

Saudi Airlines Cargo Company strengthens it European sales organization with the appointment of a new Regional Sales Director and GSA’s in Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Sander van Woesik, Dutch, started on 1st February as Regional Sales Director Europe, based in Saudi Airlines Cargo’s European hub Brussels. Sander brings a vast experience of over 20 years in the air cargo industry. He held key positions at KLM Cargo, Polar Cargo and Air Bridge Cargo.
To further strengthen the customer service structure in Europe new GSA’s in 7 countries have been appointed. Saudi Airlines Cargo recently appointed Active Air in the Netherlands and Kales in Germany as GSA. From March 2011 the airline will be represented by Air Logistics in France, CRS in Spain and Heavy Weight in Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The head of global communications & advertising department ( Media spokesperson) Mr. Shihab Al Amoudi, commented: “the appointments in Europe are in line with our capacity growth in this region. From April 2011 we plan to operate 25 freighter flights per week from our hubs in Brussels, Amsterdam and Malpensa”.
Saudi Airlines Cargo currently operates 9 freighters and utilizes the belly-capacity on 125 passenger aircraft of Saudi Arabian Airlines spanning a rapidly expanding global network of 85 online destinations.
