Ajman City Centre, the largest shopping mall in Ajman developed by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, is working closely with the Ministry of Public Works, Ajman Police and Ajman Municipality to help shoppers arrive at the renowned community hub with minimal disruption during the anticipated road works which are now underway.

The road diversions that began on the 18th March, 2011 and are expected to run for 2 years have seen the demolition of Al Hamidiya Bridge, close to the entrance of Ajman City Centre’s gate 4. The aim of the road works is to improve the condition of the infrastructure caused by increasing traffic flow and to eventually create a greater ease in which people can reach Ajman City Centre.

Ajman City Centre’s General Manager, Jassim Al Khajah, has met with officials from the Ministry of Public Works, Ajman Police and Ajman Municipality to work out a plan of action that will highlight to motorists the easiest and most effective route to reach the Centre. In all, 11 pieces of directional signage will be dedicated to helping direct traffic to Ajman City Centre’s main gates.

“Road works are a necessary part of the evolution of a growing city like Ajman. What we have done is work with the appropriate authorities to ensure that our loyal customers are as minimally affected as possible. We urge all customers to look out for the dedicated directional signage we have created which will provide customers with the quickest passage to Ajman City Centre,” said Jassim Al Khaja, General Manager, Ajman City Centre.
