ALBAWABA - In an Al Jazeera report, military analyst Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi called "Operation Dignity," which killed three Israeli security officers at the Allenby Bridge crossing, a security disaster for Israel. Similar assaults may occur soon, he said.

An incident happened at the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge) between Jordan and the West Bank. This is the first strike since Israel's war on Gaza started on October 7th, coinciding with rising West Bank tensions.

The Israeli military said the assailant was shot and killed after the incident. Jordan's Interior Ministry said it was investigating the gunfire from across the border.

Al-Samadi said the operation delivered a major blow to Israel's far-right administration, blaming the Israeli occupation's provocations and aggressive tactics for fanning regional unrest.

Al-Samadi said that Israeli occupation forces' operations in the West Bank, Gaza, and southern Lebanon, settler violence, frequent invasions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Palestinian prisoner maltreatment have motivated such assaults.

He stated that Arab and Muslim communities are now resisting Israel's long-standing policies out of hatred. "The Palestinian issue remains the central unifying cause for Arab and Muslim nations," he said.

He boldly said, "Israel may be doomed. Its demise is imminent, as the days will show."

The military expert cautioned that such operations may become more common and that Israel cannot expect peace or stability while acting aggressively. He warned that martyrdom operations might spread, threatening Israel.

Jordan has attempted infiltration many times recently. The Israeli military said that a Jordanian shooter opened fire on an Israeli patrol in April, but he did not cross the border. No casualties were recorded.

In 2010, a bomb attacked the Israeli ambassador's car and diplomatic staff near Allenby Bridge. In 1990, Jordanian Sultan Al-Ajlouni entered Israel and murdered an Israeli soldier.
