Weird clouds appear in Indianapolis following tornado

ALBAWABA - Following the devastating tornado that crashed Indianapolis city in Indiana, US, the city has witnessed an extraordinary weather display. 

Videos erupted on social media showing enormous clouds in the sky passing through a while after the tornado, raising many questions.

Some users said that this extraordinary phenomenon is known as mammatus clouds. This pretty view showcases some of the most unusual and distinctive cloud formations, with a series of bulges or pouches emerging from the base of a cloud.

Days ago, the National Weather Service in the US issued a tornado warning at 6:43 p.m. for Fountain and Warren counties, local media confirmed on May 20.

On the other hand, the NWS confirmed that four tornadoes struck Indiana State during Friday night’s severe storms, leaving at least one person dead, six others injured.

The tornadoes also caused damage to at least 75 homes. In Brown County, a horse and two dogs died, and multiple other animals were wounded.
