Hashtag Arabi reported yesterday that the Jordanian publishing house, Jabal Amman Publishers, is holding of its first virtual book fair, from 6-12 May, 2020.
The book fair, has been launched to compensate for the absence of fairs, that were intended to be held in MENA this spring such a the Riyadh International Book Fair, which was postponed due to the COVid-19 lockdowns. The fair aims at meeting the readers’ desire to obtain the latest publications on Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Design.
According to Hashtag Arabi statement, Jabal Amman publishers decided to hold the virtual exhibition in a way that provides readers with the experience of the actual book fair visit but via their screens.

Through an electronic platform, that allows visitors to enter the virtual pavilion, those interested in reading can browse all books and interact with the representatives of the publishing houses by asking direct questions, in addition to attending lectures accompanying the exhibit from Arab and foreign publishing houses.
The exhibition will provide its services daily over a period of 7 days- between 6 and 12 May 2020- in two time slots that respect Ramadan; from 4-7 pm and from 9-12 at night Mecca time, and book seekers will enjoy the free shipping service.
