ALBAWABA - A US Air Force pilot named Larry Hibbert started a hunger strike last Sunday after witnessing the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, the individual has been vocal about the matter for quite a while as he also participated in pro-Palestine protests and more.

The 26-year-old is also a member of the "Veterans for Peace" movement and took to the streets with a poster that read:

"Active duty airman refuses to eat while Gaza starves", following a disturbing picture of a Palestinian child suffering from malnutrition in what seems to be a hospital.

According to AJ+, the senior pilot added that he was deeply moved by the late hero, Aaron Bushnell who committed suicide in front of the Israeli Embassy in protest of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza. He also stated that he must raise his voice against supplying Israel with bombs and missiles to "commit genocide".

The individual in question took an official leave from his assignment at Naval Station Rota, Spain to protest about the matter, as reported by Wear The Peace on Instagram.

Several users took to the comment section about the matter, here's what they had to say:

"We thank everyone who stands by Gaza"

"What a kind and empathic soul. May God reward him for standing up for Palestine."

"I admire those doing hunger strikes, but unfortunately, the world doesn’t pay attention to them."

"How long will it take until they label him ‘mentally unstable’, a ‘threat’ to national security, or a Terrorist sympathizer?"

Israel's ongoing aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of more than 32,916 Palestinians of whom are innocent children.

Additionally, at least 75,494 are injured from the continued attacks and 27 children are malnutrition victims, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.
