ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump is once again the talk of social media after a video captured him flipping off a worker and muttering a slur at them during the Ford Plant Tour in Michigan on Tuesday.
The employee heckled Trump in criticism of his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, similar to other recent social media posts that have been pressuring the US government to release the non-redacted version of the files. The video in question was first shared by entertainment news outlet TMZ and quickly flooded the internet, sparking mixed reactions.
While many netizens criticized Trump for his "unprofessionalism" as the US President, several others praised him for standing up for himself.
Trump flips off worker during Ford plant tour
According to Reuters, citing an e-mail from the White House that read, "A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response."
The US President was visiting the Ford F-150 assembly facility when the employee reportedly shouted "pedophile protector" at him, which prompted the US President to raise his middle finger and mutter a slur at the individual.
Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford said that he was embarrassed by the incident and called it unfortunate.
According to KUTV, Trump visited the plant due to concerns over the US economy, due to inflation and tariffs.
