ALBAWABA - A video circulating on social media went viral after capturing US President Donald Trump reportedly dozing off during an important White House cabinet meeting while Secretary of State Marco Rubio and several other attendees were speaking.
This caused a resurfacing of Trump's past derogatory comments towards the 46th US President, Joe Biden. In 2023 and 2024, Donald Trump repeatedly labeled Biden as "Sleepy Joe" because he was caught on multiple occasions sleeping on camera.

According to PBS News, the White House cabinet meeting was held to discuss peace efforts for the Russia-Ukraine war, the growing tensions between the US and Venezuela, and the US President's growing concerns regarding Somali immigrants.
Videos and photos of the moment flooded X (formerly Twitter), sparking debate regarding Trump's health and his ability to serve as president of the United States. Others also noticed that his right hand was bandaged.
A social media user wrote on X, "Obviously he’s getting constant IVs, right? His hand seems to always be hidden, covered, or bruised. What’s wrong with him?" Another responded, "I think he might have some health issues."
On the contrary, another user took to the US President's defense and wrote, "Seniors have issues with thin skin. Got marks all over my hands and arms. You will see one day. If you live long enough."
Many others argued with users who shared the video that Trump wasn't sleeping, outlining further that he was only listening to conference attendees such as Marco Rubio, and US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
