ALBAWABA - A shocking video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) allegedly showing a Russian missile targeting a Ukrainian hospital.

In the clip, a medical worker inside a surgery room was talking to staff when out of a sudden a missile appeared to strike the building.

Many activists on social media posted the footage and claimed that it was taken from inside one of the hospitals in Ukraine.

An X account called "Anna the Nurse" posted the clip and wrote: "Russia will continue destroying hospitals and targeting healthcare workers because they do not want Ukrainians to receive medical care."

She maintained: "Basic #genocide math: Create as many injuries/illnesses as possible and remove the means to treat them."

Many netizens questioned whether the clip was taken in Gaza, but Anna the Nurse denied it and said "Nope. It’s not Gaza. It’s Ukraine."

Over 10,000 civilians, including more than 560 children, have been killed since the start of the Russian full-scale attack against Ukraine, the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) reported in November, 2023.

HRMMU also said that over 18,500 have been injured.
