ALBAWABA - According to reports by El Confidencial, three players from the Real Madrid Youth Academy have been arrested over allegations of the players leaking a sex tape involving a minor.
The three players are from the youth academy, the reserve team, and the third team. According to the aforementioned media reports, there may be several more players involved in leaking the tape, including members of the first team.
According to El Confidencial, a mother of a minor went to report on September 6 in the Canari Islands, saying that one of the detainees had recorded and publicly shared a sex tape of her daughter.
The suspects were caught and sent to police headquarters for questioning. The arrest is said to have occurred in Valdebebas, where the Guardia Civil was present and the players were training with the rest of their teams.
The investigation is still ongoing, as the authorities seized the mobile phones of the players involved in leaking the minor's sex tape. The club confirmed another player also gave testimony to police.
The Real Madrid Youth Academy statement reads: "Real Madrid wishes to announce that it has learned that a Castilla player and three Real Madrid C players have made statements to the Civil Guard in relation to a complaint about the alleged broadcasting of a private video via WhatsApp".
"When the club has detailed knowledge of the facts, we will take the appropriate measures" the statement added.
