ALBAWABA - Shawerma lovers have split up following the latest Shawerma trend that appeared recently in Turkey.
A video has circulated on social media showing a Turkish chef replacing the main ingredient of Turkey's most famous dish "Doner kebab," which usually comes with either Lamb, beef or chicken with something more shocking.
Chefs Faruk and Mehmet Gezen, owners of Chef Bro's in Ankara, have created a new idea for Doner's dish; Octopus Shawerma causing a buzz online with some are very excited to try it; probably seafood fans, and others who reportedly said he ruined their favourite dish forever.

Many fans of Turkish Shawarma were shocked after seeing Chefs Faruk and Mehmet revealing their Octopus Shawerma. A huge group of people commented on the video saying they would never try it, one commented: "Such a shame. hope you recover from this mistake as soon as possible."
According to Turkish media, the brothers revealed the steps to making Octopus Shawerma, they said after leaving the octopuses in boiling water, they prepare them on a doner machine with their own butter sauce, and they have had successful results from their experiment.

This is not the first time, the Jazan brothers created a buzz on social media and dominated the front pages of local newspapers; earlier, they created "fish doner" for the first time.
Chef Mehmet said after fish doner, "We thought about what we could do differently, and the idea of making octopus doner came up. We implemented that and offered it to our customers."
However, this was not the only unusual dish, a photo was posted by one of the chefs showing the Dubai trend made in his own way, "chocolate stuffed with small fishes."
