ALBAWABA- A new video obtained and verified by the BBC captured 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti clashing with federal immigration agents during an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pretti was shot and killed on January 24 after the citizen resisted arrest during the anti-ICE protest, causing a public outcry from fellow American citizens and influencers who took to social media to condemn the incident.

The new video flooding X (formerly Twitter) captured Pretti confronting the agents, spitting on the ground, and kicking their vehicle's taillight moments before they attempted to leave. This caused the agents to detain Pretti forcibly, which led to the shooting incident.

In contrast, several official accounts claimed that Pretti was in possession of a gun and was acting aggressively towards the agents.

According to the BBC, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said that the two agents involved in Alex Pretti's shooting were placed on "administrative leave."
