ALBAWABA - A poster comparing the Palestinian Keffiyeh to the KKK (Ku Klux Klan) was recently spotted by an individual in Toronto, Canada causing outrage on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) among pro-Palestine users and activists.

The poster in question had an individual wearing the Keffiyeh with "KKKeffiyeh, a Keffiyeh on campus is just a hipster swastika" referring to Nazi Germany as well.

This comes after many students on University and college campuses showcased their stance on the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza which resulted in the killing and injuring of tens of thousands of Palestinians. It also had a white triangle in the back to make a reference to the KKK's white cultist clothing.

Briefly, the black and white Keffiyeh is part of Palestinian culture and is worn by them to symbolize resistance and protection from the sun while doing daily activities and farming.

It also symbolizes the unwavering spirit of the Palestinian people and their fruitful land. It's seen a huge spike in popularity among pro-Palestine protestors across the globe next to the trendy watermelon which also rose to popularity amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

Pro-Palestine users on social media use the watermelon to dodge getting censored by platforms like Facebook and Instagram which are owned by Meta. The watermelon carries all the colors of the Palestinian flag so it represents the country perfectly.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of at least 42,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 98,000, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Hamas announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel making it the biggest offensive by the group in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases, and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel while others were seen paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
