ALBAWABA - After former US president Donald Trump was nearly assassinated during one of his rallies in Pennsylvania, Joe Biden took to his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and responded to the viral incident.
He said, "In America, we resolve our differences at the ballot box, not with bullets." Biden added that "Violence is never the answer."
Biden went on to add in different posts that disagreement is inevitable in human nature and emphasized again how they can't allow violence to be normalized. Moreover, he also believed that political differences could be resolved through a peaceful debate instead.

On the other hand, Joe Biden seems to have made a mistake while talking, and instead of saying "Ballot box," he said "Bullet box." X users didn't let that slip as they took to the post's comment section and pointed out the mistake.
"Did you really just say battle box…? LOL!"
"Joe Biden actually said, "Battle box." He can’t read a teleprompter."
Following a failed assassination attempt, the FBI announced the identification of the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Pennsylvania.

To show his courage while he was being protected, Donald Trump stood his ground and raised his fist in the air to show the audience that everything was ok, triggering a swarm of posts with the picture as many users deemed it "heroic" and "brave."
Unfortunately, an innocent man was shot dead and two were injured due to the assassination attempt, according to local authorities.
It was confirmed that the Secret Service shot Crooks dead after the shooting took place, as reported by AP.
