Despite allegations that Messi's bodyguard has served next to the American Armed Forces, veterans of the elite unit say they've never heard of him.
Messi, who recently led his team to a victorious success in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has recently moved to play in the Inter Miami Soccer club.
According to the New York Post, Messi's bodyguard Chueko, who is a professional in mixed martial arts, was allegedly a former US Navy SEAL who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is reported to come from an Arab origin.
News reports alleged that Inter Miami president David Beckham was the one who recommended hiring Yassine Chueko to protect Messi during his time in the United States.
But how much does Messi's bodyguard make:
It wasn't announced exactly how much Yassine Chueko make as a salary to protect the Argentinian footballer, but reports claim that the security guard is paid between $198,000 and $250,000 annually to watch over Messi.
