ALBAWABA - Republican mega-donor and Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus said on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2023, that he will still support and give money to the Trump 2024 campaign even if the ex-president was convicted of crime.

According to Reuters, even though the billionaire will support the campaign, Marcus is not planning to be one of the highest financial backers for it.

Currently, Donald Trump faces a total of four criminal cases including state and federal charges stemming although he pleaded not guilty in all four after denying any wrongdoing from his side. This left America wondering if Trump's 2024 campaign will continue after he gets jailed.

In an interview with Reuters, Marcus who is 94 years old was asked if he would still support Trump if convicted, he said:

"I think so. Because I think it's all trumped up."

He later added, "I never discussed his legal fees or his legal problems," and that Donald was "very happy" for his support.

Marcus also said that having Trump as a president would be beneficial for the USA especially in the economic sector calling him a "fixer."
