ALBAWABA - Amid the ongoing presidential elections in the US, former president and current runner-up Donald Trump took the internet by storm after announcing a line-up of luxurious sneakers that could cost a hefty price of $399!
According to CBS News, the decision in question was made on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, when the shoes were revealed at "Sneaker Con," the convention crowns itself as "The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth."
The former US president is no stranger to offering merchandise with his name and face on it, as last year fans of the former president were given the option of buying several products from his shop including caps, mugs, t-shirts, and more. The mugshot proved best-selling and became a meme among internet users.

Donald expected positive feedback but received boos at the convention instead with people taking to X (formerly Twitter) and stating:
"Booed right off of stage. Lol" with people chanting "USA"!
Others weren't as mad as they chanted "SNEAKERHEADS LOVE TRUMP".
Thousands of dollars for $300 Trump-branded sneakers
Despite the booing, the sneakers in question are high in demand, and they are already being scalped and sold for thousands of dollars on the online shopping platform eBay. The high-neck shoes are being sold as "Never Surrender High-Tops" and are covered in gold with a 'T' for Trump on the sides and America's flag on the heel area.
They are being displayed on a new website that is also offering Trump-branded "Victory47" cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle. Despite the website not showing any official ties to the campaign, Trump campaign officials promoted it online.
