ALBAWABA - Following the assassination attempt against Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, the name of the Lebanese astrologer Layla Abdel Latif has been trending on several social media platforms.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in a rocket attack in the Iranian capital of Tehan at 2 a.m. on Wednesday after he attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
According to Iranian media, the Hamas leader was targeted while he was residing in a special headquarters for war veterans in the north of Tehran.
Did Layla Abdel Latif predict the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh?
Layla Abdel Latif, who is a controversial astrologer and known for her predictions which many came true, has been trending on social media after many said that she also predicted the assassination of Haniyeh.
According to social media users and activists online, Layla Abdel Latif had predicted earlier that a "prominent political leader will be assassinated outside his country."
Despite that Layla Abdel Latif didn't mention a certain name of the political leader, many posted the prediction and said that she meant the Hamas leader.
