Driving through the streets of the Russian city of Dzerzhinsk, one person spotted a number of dogs who had unusual blue and green colors, suggesting there is a chemical effect to that.

The photos that went viral online showed the dogs roaming around an abandoned area in blue and green colors. This got online commentators to believe it was the result of chemical waste dumped in the area, where a chemical plant was once built before it was closed down a few years ago.

While admiring the nice photos social media users expressed their concern over the damage the chemicals are leaving on the wildlife and the environment, saying more should be done to protect animals and the different species found in the ecosystem.
