ALBAWABA - The Jerusalem District Court denied Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plea on Monday to stop the disclosure of video pertaining to police investigations into allegations of corruption against him.

The documentary "The Bibi Files," which will screen tomorrow night at the Toronto International Film Festival, will contain the film, which consists of recordings of conversations with Netanyahu, his wife Sara, and their son Yair.

The recordings, which were recorded between 2016 and 2018, were gathered as part of the evidence to decide whether to bring charges against Netanyahu. The accusations, which date back to 2019, include fraud, bribery, and breach of trust.

Netanyahu tried to stop the documentary from airing in Israel, even though he was unable to stop it from being shown at the festival. Raviv Drucker, a journalist from Channel 13 and one of the film's producers, is a political rival of Netanyahu, according to his legal team, who wants to undermine his authority.

The film, which was directed by Alexis Bloom and produced by Oscar winner Alex Gibney, includes in-depth interviews with Netanyahu's staff, friends, and family. Variety claims that Gibney obtained the video last year and that it offers in-depth explanations of Netanyahu's behavior and personality.

"An unprecedented and extraordinary view of Netanyahu's character, providing compelling evidence of his corruption and bribery, which has contributed to the current political climate," is what Gibney said the tape exposes.
