"Voice of Algeria" in Venice

Venice, the city of love and cinema, is hosting an Algerian film series, titled "Voice of Algeria" during April 6 to April 18. The event is organized by the Office of Cinematographic Activities of the Venetian community and is meant to be a platform of expression to the Berber cinema. Hence, four of the eight movies that are presented during the event are Berber films. <i>Liberate Algeria</i> reports that the aim of the event is to generate a discussion concerning Algeria and especially concerning the situation of women in Algeria.
