ALBAWABA - A top Hezbollah figure, Imad Amahez, a sea captain, was captured by an elite Israeli commando squad during a nocturnal assault on a beachfront cabin in Batroun, between Beirut and Tripoli, according to Lebanese media on Saturday.

According to reports, Unit 13 of the Israeli Navy carried out the operation, deploying around 30 commandos to attack a coastal cabin thought to be Amahez's residence. Without meeting armed opposition from Lebanese authorities, the commandos captured him and swiftly took him to Israeli military speedboats, leaving the region.

Security camera footage shows armed commandos entering the cabin and accompanying a guy who is thought to be the Hezbollah agent.

Other recent reports of Israeli actions beyond its boundaries since the start of the war have followed this episode.

According to reports, the Israeli Air Force attacked military installations in the Masyaf area of Syria on September 9. Opposition sources claim that as part of this operation, Israeli soldiers landed on the ground, exchanged gunfire, and arrested many people.

According to sources, Israeli commandos rappelled from helicopters during the Syria operation, while drones struck Syrian security vehicles in an effort to isolate the area.

Three Syrians were killed in the attack, and other people, including civilians, were injured. Two Iranians were allegedly taken prisoner by Israeli soldiers.

At least 25 people were killed in the strike, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, while Syria's SANA news agency verified 16 fatalities and 43 injuries. It also noted that rescue services were unable to visit the impacted region due to limited access.
