ALBAWABA - A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck the Republic of Dagestan on the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to the media, the quake's center was approximately 17 kilometers east of the town of Novokayakent.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers below the Earth's surface, at 42.365 degrees north latitude and 48.198 degrees east longitude.
Till this moment, there are no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
Videos were shared online showing houses, furniture, and shops' shelves shaking due to the earthquake.
