ALBAWABA - A shooting was reported near the 5th Avenue Park in Conway, Arkansas, on Sunday killing two people and leaving nine others injured, according to THV11.
Local media confirmed that police and emergency services rushed to the mass shooting scene and transferred the injured victims to local hospitals, all are in stable condition.
US authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased or any information about possible suspects.
The Conway Police Department is currently investigating the incident, and the area remains under active police response as the preparator has not been arrested yet.
"The Conway Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, is currently investigating a shooting that occurred near 5th Avenue Park. We are asking the public to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing. Further details will be released as they become available," the Conway Police Department released a statement on its official Facebook page.
A video of the first moment of the shooting attack in Arkansas state went viral on social media and showed people running to save their lives while gunfire was heard in the background.
