USM Algiers needs two points to gain championship title

Following its 2:1 victory over ASO Chlef (currently fifth in the table) in the 26th round of the Algerian premier football league, USM Algiers is now only two points away from its fifth championship title. USM Algiers currently has 58 and after JS Kabylie (second in the table with 48 points) has lost (1:2) to MC Algiers (third in the table with 43 points). Hence, reports <i>Liberte Algerie</i>, with only 4 matches left until the end of the season (June 2, 9 and 13) USM needs only two more points to secure the championship title.
