The US Embassy in Riyadh has declared an alert for US nationals living in Saudi Arabia, following a letter bomb blast that critically injured a US doctor last week, reported the Middle East Newsline.
The embassy called on the tens of thousands of Americans living in the kingdom to be on alert in the wake of the bombing in Khobar.
The embassy issued instructions that called on Americans to change their travel plans, and to be careful about opening mail from unknown parties, said the newsline.
