ALBAWABA- Media close to the Houthi group report that two US-British raids targeted the Midi district in Hajjah Governorate, northwest Yemen.
The airstrikes occurred hours after a speech by Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, in which he addressed the ongoing incidents in Gaza, the Red and Arab Seas, and the Oman-hosted negotiations between the Houthi delegation and the internationally recognized government.
In his speech, Al-Houthi emphasized the prolonged aggression against Gaza and criticized the diminishing public interest and interaction with the situation. He highlighted the severe human rights violations in Palestine, condemning the genocide against the oppressed and Muslim population there.
Al-Houthi denounced the Arab regimes for ignoring these atrocities and criticized them for classifying Palestinian, Lebanese, and Yemeni fighters as terrorists while failing to address the terrorism of the Israeli enemy.
Al-Houthi also accused Western countries and the United Nations of exploiting children's rights for political purposes while ignoring the suffering of Palestinian children. He condemned the Israeli practice of using starvation as a weapon and criticized the blockade on Gaza, which has resulted in severe humanitarian crises.
The Houthi leader's speech further accused the US of being a key supporter of Israeli crimes and highlighted the American involvement in the conflict.
He pointed out the severe impact of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on Israel, which led to American intervention in the conflict.
The raids on Yemen were seen as a response to Al-Houthi's strong stance against Israel and his call for continued resistance. The situation in Yemen remains volatile, with the possibility of further escalation as international and regional powers remain entangled in the conflict.
