ALBAWABA- In a retaliatory move following Russia's largest attack on Ukraine, a Ukrainian strike targeted a residential building in Belgorod, resulting in one fatality and four injuries, with damage to the city's water supply system. The Russian defense ministry reported intercepting 32 drones and destroying 13 missiles over the border region.
Belgorod, located near the Ukrainian border, faced the consequences of the strike, while other border regions, including Bryansk and Kursk, also witnessed drone interceptions.
The attacks came in response to a significant Russian assault on Ukraine, characterized by over 100 hypersonic and ballistic missiles and approximately 18 strategic bombers.
Ukrainian authorities reported at least 30 deaths and over 160 injuries across the country in Friday's Russian strikes.
