PKK miltants have attacked two schools and a family support center in Turkey's southeast, security sources have said.
The miltants set fire to Misak-i Milli Secondary School's roof in Mardin province’s Nusaybin district on Tuesday causing substantial damage.
A family support center in the Zeynel Abidin neighborhood and a preschool in Kisla neighborhood were hit with Molotov cocktails.
Firefighters attending the scene of Zeynel Abidin and Kisla blazes were shot at, leaving them unable to put out the fire.
The PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU – resumed its 30-year armed campaign last July.
Since then, more than 260 members of the security forces and thousands of PKK have been killed, according to officials.
