Two men killed in a security operation in New Caledonia

ALBAWABA - According to the public prosecutor's office in New Caledonia, two men were killed in a security operation overnight, raising the death toll to 13 after months of unrest in the Pacific territory.

Prosecutor Yves Dupas stated, "The second shot hit a man, aged 29, in the chest," a few hours after the first man was shot dead in Saint-Louis, the center of an independence movement south of the capital Noumea.
