ALBAWABA - As many countries in the Middle East refused using its territories to conduct any attack on Iran, the United States could launch a strike on Tehran but from outside the region.

AiTelly, a technology and military affairs channel, highlighted the methods that Washington could use to strike from outside the Middle East, coinciding with news that it is impossible to deploy major forces at the Diego Garcia island base in the Pacific Ocean due to a lack of agreement with Britain.

Diego Garcia island base has been used as a joint UK–US military base since the 1970s.

According to the channel, the U.S. launch attacks from the ocean using European bases, as fighter jets and other multi-mission aircraft such as the F-35 and F-22, strategic transport aircraft and ground attack aircraft have arrived at American bases in Europe over the past few days, especially in Germany, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus.

There are approximately 30 to 40 U.S. military installations in the Middle East, hosting between 30,000 and 50,000 American troops. According to the latest U.S. reports, the number has risen to between 40,000 and 50,000 with reinforcements.

The analysis predicted that naval destroyers would initiate the first strikes, and that the attack would begin not with manned aircraft, but with precision robotic launch from the sea, with the simple objective of overwhelming Iranian radars and disrupting command and control.
