Toshiba’s Computer Systems Division Europe, Middle East and Africa today launches a new form-factor to its Satellite notebook series. With its mobile technology-based platform and multiple data security protection features, the Satellite U200 is the ideal companion for highly mobile consumers.

The high resolution LCD panel enables users to open two internet windows next to each other or comfortably watch DVDs whilst on the go with the integrated DVD Player/Burner. Using dedicated hardware buttons, the Satellite U200 automatically boots Microsoft® Windows® and Windows Media Player® enabling faster and easier access to DVD and CD content.

Critical components of the Satellite U200 are well protected against potential damage through the integration of Toshiba Shock Absorbing Design elements. The notebook also safeguards against the daily wear and tear of mobility with Toshiba HDD Protection with 3/axis motion monitoring system and a spill-resistant keyboard which provides users with ample time to save their work and shut down the system if they were to spill liquid onto the notebook.
