tnt recieves top international environmental certificate

TNT Express, the world’s leading B2B express delivery company, has been awarded the prestigious ISO 14001, the International Environmental Management certificate, for its businesses in the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain.

The award, issued by the International Organisation for Standardisation, the world’s leading developer of international standards, is the latest in TNT’s continued efforts to further improve its GCC business operations.

“TNT continuously endeavours to progress all aspects of its business practices and over the last year, we also achieved the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety standard by Belgium-based certification body, Vincotte International and the ISO 9001 for Operational Excellence,†said Martyn Wright, TNT’s Managing Director, Gulf.

TNT is also the only company in the GCC holding SA8000 certification from an SAI accredited certification body – Bureau Veritas.
