ALBAWABA - On Saturday night, thousands of Israelis took to the streets of Tel Aviv in massive demonstrations demanding the resignation of Benjamin Netanyahu's government and early elections.

Reports in Israel indicated that this demonstration was more organized and included supporters of the left who oppose Netanyahu's right-wing policies.

The demonstrators marched through the streets of Tel Aviv, including the bustling Kaplan Street, before gathering at Theater Square, chanting slogans calling for early elections.

Protesters blocked several major roads, including the Ayalon Highway, prompting police intervention. Police forcibly dispersed the protesters and arrested a number of them after clashes.

This came as the Israeli Home Front Command issued stern warnings and announced it was preparing to take "stricter" measures, particularly in the northern regions, following Hezbollah's expansion of the range of its missiles targeting Israel.

The past few hours have witnessed escalating tensions and violent clashes between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli forces operating in towns and villages in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has announced that it is currently confronting these forces.
