Tanmiyat, a leading Saudi-based investment and real estate developer will commence the main construction work for 100 villas of the multi-purpose Living Legends development in Dubailand starting this last quarter.
The residential segment of Living Legends contains a total of 500 villas, 12 residential towers, and a golf course.
According to Abdullah Al-Dehaim, Tanmiyat Deputy Chief Operation Officer, they have already signed the construction contract for 500 villas with the Middle East China Sport Construction Group. He added that the handover by the previous contractor already took place.
The main construction work for the remaining villas is expected to start in the third quarter of 2011.
Tanmiyat is very much involved in overseas projects not only in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East but also in other African countries such as Mauritania and Sudan.
“We have a huge and ambitious project in Mauritania which we will launch by end of November in time for the 50th independence day anniversary of the country,” disclosed Bader Al-Shathry, Chief Executive Officer of Aqtaar where Tanmiyat is the developer.
