Syria's foreign minister Farouk al-Shara received on Monday Head of the PLO Political Department Farouk al-Qaddoumi and an accompanying delegation.
During their talks, regional developments, especially Iraq and the Palestinian territories were discussed, according to SANA news agency.
Shara stressed the importance of reaching an active united Arab position to face the current developments, pointing out to President Bashar al-Assad’s efforts to close Arab ranks and prepare for the upcoming Arab summit. (Albawaba.com)
