A symposium on sea disasters is underway in the eastern city of Dhahran in Saudi Arabia.
According to the official Saudi News Agency (SPA), the symposium was organized by the directorate general for Border Guards in cooperation with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and Saudi Aramco company.
Speaking on the occasion, director general of border guards, Talal Al-Anqawi, was quoted as saying that the symposium and said it would provide a good opportunity to exchange views on sea disasters and study the suitable means of confronting these disasters that continue to take place despite the development witnessed by the shipping sector.
