Sudan Takes Delivery of New Power Plant

It has been reported that Sudan's National electricity corporation has taken delivery of a new 50-megawatt German-made thermal power plant, according to Mbendi Information Services. 

The 4.3-million-dollar equipment was reportedly delivered at Port Sudan, and is to be installed at the Bahri thermal station in Khartoum in early February. It is expected that the plant will go into operation in March 2001—Albawaba.com
