Somali President Abdulkassim Salat Hassan was in Libya Thursday for talks with the country's leaders, including Colonel Moamer Kadhafi, the official JANA news agency said.
Salat arrived in the coastal city of Syrte late Wednesday on his third trip abroad since his election last month by members of a newly formed transitional parliament, meeting in neighboring Djibouti.
He is the first president of Somalia, which is driven by clan warfare, since 1991 -- TRIPOLI (AFP)
