Sami Khoreibi, CEO of Enviromena Power Systems
("Enviromena") was awarded "Young CEO of the Year" at the 2010 CEO Middle East
Awards held at the Armani Hotel in Dubai on Monday night. The gala awards
ceremony featured His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Hasher Al Maktoum as the
keynote speaker. Khoreibi was honoured for his work with Enviromena, the first
alternative energy company to be recognized at the awards ceremony.

Since founding the company three years ago, 30 year old CEO Khoreibi has
transformed the business from a young startup company of four employees to the
leading solar solutions provider in the Middle East and North Africa. During
this time Enviromena has secured the largest portfolio of photovoltaic projects
throughout the region and attracted a broad base of international venture
capital investment.

Khoreibi commented on the win: "Recognition in this forum is indicative of the
rapidly increasing focus on solar energy in the region, and I'm honoured to
receive this award. This achievement highlights the strength of the team we've
built at Enviromena, one of the first groups of design engineers and project
managers exclusively dedicated to solar power solutions in the Middle East."

CEO Middle East Editorial Director, Anil Bhonyrul commented, "The judges felt
there could be only one winner in this category. Not just in the last twelve
months, but in the past three years since he created Enviromena Power Systems,
Sami Khoreibi has taken the industry by storm in creating the region's largest
solar developer. At just 30 years old, his mission to create clean, carbon
neutral alternative energy projects already looks well on the way to being
accomplished."

Now in their fifth year, the CEO Middle East Awards have become the premier
awards ceremony for CEOs throughout the GCC. Organized by ITP Publishing, the
largest magazine publisher in the region, the awards recognize outstanding
achievements across the business spectrum by CEOs.

Established in October 2007 as one of the UAE's first alternative energy
companies, Enviromena has experienced tremendous growth and become a pioneering
force in the UAE's renewable energy industry with projects including the largest
grid connected solar plant in the Middle East. The company's success has not
gone unnoticed and since founding the company, Khoreibi has also received the
"Entrepreneur of the Year" award at the 2008 Alternative Energy Awards and in
2009 was named as one of the "Top 30 Under 30" young Arab business leaders by
Arabian Business.
