Chairman of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Ali Meshkini said in Tehran Tuesday that the Iranian government should continue its peaceful nuclear activities independently if Europe refuses to undertake its promises.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 13th official session of the third term of the Assembly of Experts, Meshkini added the Iranian government should not be deceived by incentives and feel no fear over threats.

"We have no concerns over possible referral of Iran's nuclear dossier to the United Nations," he stressed, according to IRNA news agency.

He pointed to the dual attitude adopted by the United Nations under the influence of powers particularly the United States and said the Zionist regime has violated UN resolutions several times but no one has reacted to its measures.

"The Islamic Republic is becoming a big and strong power," he said.
