Saudi King Fahd bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of congratulations to President Zine El-Abidine ben Ali of Tunisia on the occasion of his re-election for a new term of office as President of Tunisia.
In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of Saudi Arabia, the monarch wished President ben Ali continuous health and happiness and the Tunisian people steady progress and prosperity, SPA said.
Similar cables of congratulations to President ben Ali were sent by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. (Albawaba.com)
