Saudi Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister and President of the Higher Hajj Committee, received in Mecca Tuesday the commanders of the Hajj security.

In the course of the reception, Prince Naif congratulated them in their success regarding the Hajj season which was "precisely and efficiently implemented", according to SPA news agency.

He said, "The plans were successfully implemented despite the critical security situation of the world and the region in particular, in addition to the fact that our country is targeted."

Prince Naif affirmed that the "success" of Hajj and the safety of the pilgrims were achieved without any act of sabotage.

"This was possible only because of the help of the almighty Allah and the great efforts that were exerted to prevent such a thing from happening," he noted, according to the official agency.

He said many observers were expecting something to happen, but the capabilities of the security men were able to prevent any such thing to happen. (Albawaba.com)
