RTA delivers keynote on the crucial role of tyres in safeguarding safety of vehicles

Speaking at the Automechanika Academy yesterday in Dubai, Nasser Abdullah Noori, Acting Vehicle Technical Inspection Manager of Dubai’s Road Transport Authority (RTA), informed delegates that 45 per cent of car accident injuries were caused by bald tyres and 55 per cent of accidents were due to bad tyres according to their most recent research. The Automechanika Academy is a forum running alongside Automechanika Middle East where various experts discuss issues and topics relevant to the automotive industry. Tomorrow, May 27 is the last day of Automechanika Middle East being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
