Israel's Mossad chief Meir Dagan's cellular phone was stolen from his car after he had forgotten it there last month, it was released for publication Wednesday.
It is still unclear, however, whether criminal elements or "others" stole the mobile phone that has not been found till date, Israeli media reports added.
Initially, Israel's channel 10 reported that the Mossad chief woke up around a month ago in his Tel-Aviv home and discovered that the phone had been stolen. Dagan subsequently filed a complaint to local police and ever since, police as well as security officials have attempted to locate the phone and find out who received hold of it, but it has not yet been located.
Security officials have told the Yediot Aharonot website that this incident represents a "failure" of the Mossad chief. (Albawaba.com)
