Every two seconds, someone in the UAE is in need of blood. For those of us blessed with good health, it is a boon to be able to share it with others less fortunate by donating blood.
To this effect, Proclad has partnered with Al Wasl Hospital, a member of Dubai's Blood Centers to conduct a blood donation drive on June 13th, 2010, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Proclad Techno Park facility. Members of the blood drive team will be asking all staff to make their donations.
Yaseen Jaafer, CEO of Proclad said, "We welcome all members of the UAE community to show their support towards the drive through participation in donating healthy blood, and to join us in demonstrating a deep commitment to the society that we live in. We believe that members will give full consideration to donating the "gift of life," and we thank all participants in anticipation for their interest in this important humanitarian effort."
