Moroccan Princess Lalla Salma chaired, Friday evening in Fez, the opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the Fez Festival for Sacred Music of the world. The event is held under the patronage of Moroccan King, Mohammed VI, in association with Fez Saiss. The festival is taking place from June 3 to June 11 under the topic: "Paths of Hope".
<i>EMarrakech</i> reports that on her arrival to the historical site of Bab Makina, the Princess reviewed an honor parade of the municipal guard and then went to enjoy the inaugural concert given by the famous Spanish soprano Teresa Berganza accompanied by Cecilia Lavilla.
