The opening ceremony of the 11th international book fair was attended by Prince Moulay Rachid. The Prince visited different stands in the fair, including those of the Spanish and Belgian publishing houses, the stands of the Saudi editors and those of the Moroccan ministry of education and culture, which organized the event.
<i>Al Bayane</i> reports that the decision to make Spain an honorary guest of the event was adopted in order to strengthen the cultural relations with this country. The fair will last until February 20 and it will include 650 participants from 56 countries.
